KORD! is Matt Jukes and a number of respected digital freelancers who collaborate on projects when required.

Matt has spent the majority of the last decade successfully managing digital teams in higher education with a particular focus on e-learning and digital libraries as well as Government quangos. This has included responsibility for the ESRC and JISC websites as well as working with Directgov on the migration of the successful Aimhigher website onto that platform.

He was also responsible for identifying and implementing a number of early proof of concept, social web communications channels to JISC – including blogs, wikis, podcasts and live video streaming of events. He has spoken at a number of events on the subject of using the social web as a communication channel and in particular how web tools can enhance traditional communication channels like events and PR.

An experienced project manager he has a PRINCE2 practitioner certificate and knowledge of the Managing Successful Programs framework and Scrum Agile methodology.

He spent a year at Jiva Technology working on Beanbag Learning and conceiving and helping launch the beta of Specialize.In (which became Tutorhub) – overseeing the development team as Product Owner, building strategic partnerships and managing marketing and PR activity.

Most recently he has been back at JISC overseeing the technical infrastructure aspects of the UK Open Education Resources Programme.
